My friend Emily Fischer runs a custom quilt studio called Haptic Lab and she just introduced a Great Lakes quilt. If you grew up in this region, you might feel as fondly about this as I do.

I decided to do a brainstorming exercise I used to do when I used to write a lot of rhymes. You can call it “Train of Thoughts.” Excuse me, I might be rusty. From these sessions, I used to glean lines that I would use in my songs.

This session by kicked off listening to “Do You Exist?” by Mr. Tunes. The missus has the Fashion Police on the tele.

beat box of chocolates eclairs

fares shares and under-whereabouts

a fair amount of issued tissues misused

elegance; dressed to impress upon a notion of relevance

elegance; gowned to get crowned by clowns with frowns

What’s fashion? I long for the day when people think more about their deeds than their perception. CORRECTION: when will people care more about their actions than how they are perceived?

Who cares what people think about you? At some point, we all pass along a line that is not shared by anyone else. This is mathematic. This is geometric. This is reality.

The Power of Connecting People:

I had the pleasure to be invited to be at a Wayne State University PRSSA event on social media. As someone that has listened to many talks on the subject, I decided to give my humble opinion. At the end of the day, social media - to me - is about connecting people. It’s the greatest value proposition we have to date.

These slides were just my backdrop. I’m a talker, not a shower. :)
